Who we are

Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL) is a voluntary organisation and registered charity, which was set up in April 2007 to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action in the District of Harborough. VASL is the main voluntary and community infrastructure organisation in the area and supports around 200 members working in a diverse range of areas.

A Board of Trustees manages VASL. The Board's members are elected at VASL’s Annual General Meetings from its membership of voluntary and community groups. The Board also has some co-opted members in addition to 1 councillor from Harborough District Council

VASL is committed to the following statement of values and equal opportunities:
