Who is a carer? A carer is someone of any age whose life is affected by the need to help another person with daily living.

How can we help you?

'Support for Carers Leicestershire'provides support for carers across the whole of Leicestershire.

We can help you receive allowances and benefits to which you, and the person you care for, are entitled to. Caring at home is a costly business.

We help an run and support carers groups.

We send out quarterly newsletters giving carers information on caring issues and details of events organised for carers.

We can give you information on how to get help in your home, carers assessments and respite care.

We also run a Carers Telephone Befriending Service
