Youth Action TeamsYouth Action Teams are groups of young people who would like to be involved in the development and running of the new national youth volunteering programme funded by v. They will be made up of young people throughout Leicestershire & Rutland. Why be a part of the Youth Action Team?
What qualifications would I need?None! You don't need to have had previous volunteering experience – just a commitment to helping others and making a difference in your community. It's open to anyone aged 16-25 and all people need is have bags of enthusiasm and can join in for at least a few hours a month, ideally for around 6 months to a year. People can be involved at the level which fits in with their other commitments and there will be support along the way. It's a great opportunity to play a leading role in the community, be part of a team and improve your CV or your education, employment or life opportunities. What does the Youth Action Team do?
